Always be sure to order the right amount, as it is best if it comes from the same batch. When picking up or delivering, it is very important to check the quantity and quality of your purchases. See to store the wood in a dry and ventilated place, on blocks of wood to allow a good circulation of air, and not directly on the ground, nor in an overheated room.

However, if the wood is stored in an unheated area, return it a few days before installation to allow acclimatization to the room temperature. Always preserve it from rain, snow. All installed products will be considered accepted by the customer or installer; we do not accept any liability for improper installation or judgmental error on the quality of the goods prior to installation.

Provide an additional 5% to the estimated quantity for minor cuts and defects. Do not expose the wood to rain or snow. Let the wood rest inside 4 to 5 days in advance so that it takes the temperature of the room to be covered. By taking precautions not to damage them, our floors do not require sandblasting after installation; therefore, it is suggested to apply at least one top coat before installation to seal the wood and avoid staining.

Pour les planchers de 71/8, 9, 11 pouces,  nous suggérons fortement d’ajouter une ligne de colle au centre de la planche pour l’empêcher d’arrondir. Mettre suffisamment de clous ou de broches : le premier clou sera à 2 pouces du bout et les suivants à environ 12 à 16 pouces de distance. Ajuster la pression du compresseur. Bien équerrer le bout des planches, tout en laissant de ¼ à ½ pouces de distance des murs pour permettre l’expansion.
